Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of this website and every order placed with Solivar Mercantile, a sole proprietorship trading online from D-20, 80 Feet Rd, Krishna Nagar-B, Mahesh Nagar, Gopal Pura Mode, Jaipur, Rajasthan 302015, India. Browsing or ordering means you accept them. They are read with our Shipping Policy, Refund and Returns Policy, Cancellation Policy, Payment Policy and Privacy Policy, and they are governed by Indian law — the Information Technology Act, 2000 (IT Act 2000), the Consumer Protection Act, 2019, the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act 2023).

1. What we sell

We retail Electrical Supplies online — lever and push-in wire connectors, heat-shrink and waterproof connectors, cable ties, enclosures and outlet boxes, wire strippers and related accessories. Orders are placed here and dispatched from Jaipur. We do not sell mains cable by the metre and we do not install, wire, test or certify anything.

2. Installation is for a licensed electrician

Everything here is a component for use in an installation carried out by a competent, licensed electrician in accordance with the applicable wiring rules. Nothing on this site is installation advice, a design service or a compliance certificate. Isolate before you work, and if you are not qualified, do not.

3. Ratings, marks and approvals

We publish the current, voltage, conductor range and any approval mark exactly as printed by the maker on the component or its packaging, and we check that print against the listing before dispatch. We do not test parts electrically, we do not issue test certificates, and we do not claim any approval that is not printed on the part itself. If your job requires a specific standard or mark, confirm the listing states it before you order.

4. Using the site

Use it lawfully, give an accurate delivery address and phone number, and do not scrape or republish our listings and photography.

5. Prices, currency and tax

Prices are in Indian Rupees (INR) including any tax that applies. We trade below the GST registration threshold for individual sellers, so no GST is charged separately and no GST invoice is issued; a plain sale invoice travels in the parcel. Shipping is quoted before payment — free from ₹1,499, otherwise a flat ₹59.

6. Counts and pack sizes

Where a kit is sold by piece count, that count and its size breakdown are stated and checked before dispatch. A shortfall on arrival is a fault and we replace it.

7. Orders and our right to decline

An order is an offer to buy; the contract forms on dispatch. We may decline or cancel — refunding in full anything paid — where stock has run out, a rating or count was published in error, the address cannot be served, or the order shows fraud markers.

8. Payment

UPI and Cash on Delivery only. We do not accept credit cards, debit cards, net banking, PayPal or any other wallet, and we never ask for or store card numbers, CVV codes, UPI PINs or banking passwords.

9. Delivery, cancellation and returns

Handling of 2 business days, delivery in 4–11 business days, free cancellation before dispatch and a 7 days return window are on the relevant pages, which form part of these terms. Fitted or part-used components cannot be returned.

10. Intellectual property

Text, descriptions, photography, layout, logo and the name Solivar Mercantile belong to us or our licensors, protected under the Copyright Act, 1957 and the Trade Marks Act, 1999. Do not copy or republish them commercially without written permission.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, and except as stated in these terms, the site and the products are provided without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. We are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from the use of this website or of any product — including any loss arising from an installation, whether or not carried out by a qualified person — whether based on warranty, contract, tort or any other legal theory. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, and nothing removes your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.

12. Events outside our control

We are not responsible for delay caused by courier-network failure, flood, transport strike or government restriction. Where such an event prevents delivery entirely, we refund in full.

13. Changes

These terms may be revised; the version published on the day of your order governs that order.

14. Governing law, jurisdiction and contact

Indian law applies, and disputes fall under the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts at Jaipur, Rajasthan. Questions go to support@solivarmercantile.shop, answered during working hours — Monday – Saturday, 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM IST. Closed on Sundays and public holidays.
